About Us

I started beekeeping as a way to get outdoors more, be more mindful and more present in nature.

On World Bee Day 2024, a small swarm of bees moved into the empty hive I had put in my garden. It seems like millions of bees but was probably a few thousand.

I had been learning about beekeeping for over a year beforehand and had attended the beginners course run by Hagley and Stourbridge Beekeeping Association, watched lots of videos on YouTube and read some books.

Currently I have an active apiary in Kidderminster and will be starting a second on in Chaddesley Corbett in Spring next year.

Some of the money from the sale of honey is donated to charities that support mental health - currently I am supporting Young Minds.
